Mid-Pacific Promotions Newsletter #022

Hello fans and welcome back to the latest installment of the Mid-Pacific Promotions newsletter.  MPP is a proud member of the SPW Alliance and for those who have yet to sign up, you can easily subscribe for a low monthly payment of $9.95. Reggie Parks comes out to start off the show and reminds us that MPP’s PPV – The Cutting Edge will be here next Saturday and will be headlined by a defense of the SPW World Championship.   Also on next week’s card, Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger has agreed to give former IWA North American Champion Killer Kahn a rematch for the title that same evening.  The feud between the Doctor of Thuganomics and Mr. Straight Edge has come to a boiling point and they too get to settle their differences.  Reggie promises that each PPV match WILL have a winner because each one with the exception of the SPW World and IWA NA title matches will be NO DQ/NO Countout…there must be a winner. The show kicks off with our first match.  Firebrea...

Hello fans and welcome back to Mid-Pacific Promotions.  We had a lot going on over the last week and an announcement has just been released from our owners.   It seems that after our PPV ‘The Cutting Edge’ on 8/5, MPP will be taking a 2 week hiatus.  There have been some behind the scenes stuff happening and the owners want time to get this all figured out.  CM Punk is backstage and he asks about the tournament happening later tonight.  Reggie Parks tells him that he has his hands full right now with John Cena and now is not the time to have him back in this tournament.  Punk is not happy.  Reggie says someone else won’t be happy either. We kick off today’s show with the first match in round one to see who goes on to meet the SPW World Champion when he comes to Mid-Pacific Promotions.  First, AJ Styles comes out to a huge pop from the crowd.  He gets into the ring and his music is cut off.  Next, ‘Pomp and Circumstance’ p...

Sorry for the delay in posting.  Been a very busy week.  Show took place on 7/15.  Hello fans and welcome back to the latest installment of the Mid-Pacific Promotions Newsletter…MPP is a proud member of the SPW Alliance and invites all fans to check them out online for only $9.95 a month.  It’s a steal when you get the ability to see wrestling from 8 great territories.  Become a subscriber now. Today’s show begins not with a match but with boasting.  Bullet Club member Gino Hernandez comes out and is booed all the way to the ring.  Gino takes a mic and begins bragging about how he and only he was invited (from MPP) to be a member of the Western States Heritage tournament in Texas.  Gino says he’s already in the ring so if they want to send out a schmuck to get his ass beat, he may just as well do it right now. Lance Cade makes his way out and the fans pop for him which drives Gino crazy.  Cade gets in the ring only to have Gino...

Mid-Pacific Promotions Newsletter #019

Hello fans and welcome back to our latest edition of the Mid-Pacific Promotions…a proud member of the SPW Alliance.  Remember, you can sign up now for only $9.95 a month.  BREAKING NEWS:  Reggie Parks informs us that in less than a month, MPP will host is FIRST EVER PPV and it will be called “The Cutting Edge” on 8/5/17.  As of right now, the only match confirmed for this PPV will be our main event and that will be for the SPW Heavyweight Championship.  The champ comes (back if Gagne) to Hawaii and a tournament will be held in two weeks to see who will face him.  We know CM Punk wants another shot to make up for his loss the last time Verne Gagne was here (for those who don’t remember, Gagne WIPED the floor with Punk – it was embarrassing).   But first, another person has a beef with Punk and the Dr. of Thuganomics comes out with his manager Sensational Sherri and demands a mic.  He takes a chair, unfolds it and sits down. Sounds like ...

Mid-Pacific Promotions Newsletter #017 Presents: SPW’s King of the Ring (6/25)

Due to the length of the show (80+ pages in Word), I was not able to get it all to fit here so please email me if you want details on the show.  There are two versions.  The truncated one has the commentary (MUST READ) and the full version is just all the matches.

Mid-Pacific Promotions Newsletter #018

Hello SPW fans and welcome back to the latest installment of the Mid-Pacific Promotions newsletter.  I have to tell you, the last few weeks have been a whirlwind.  Bray Wyatt defeated Nikolai Volkoff to become the SPW US Champ; Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger defeated Dynamite Kid for the SPW Cruiserweight title and our very own Damien Sandow is now “King”.   We will hear from him later in the day.  SPW US Champion Bray Wyatt is not here as he’s over in the Stampede territory defending his championship.  We wish him the best of luck. MPP Light Heavyweight and SPW Cruiserweight Champion Jushin Liger will defend his title tonight before he hits the road to Stampede to defend his title.  We also wish him the best of luck.  Now that all of the SPW commitments are done, we can get back to MPP business.  Dave Millican comes out and says that LA was great but Hawaii is just that much better.  The fans pop.  Dave goes on to say that i...
